The problem with having change with buttons turned on for the blind is, it's
far to easy to accidentally change the volume of something and usually at
the wrong time. I always make sure that when I get a new iPhone that I turn
off change with buttons so that I don't accidentally change the volume
settings from their default values. The buttons on the left side of the
iPhone will still control the master volume but not the rest of the sounds.

will have an option to allow volume to be on the rotor. That volume will
control voiceover. I am not sure if there is still a problem with that
