This may sound silly, but I've actually activated screen curtain
accidentally several
times. I discovered that I had a particular long-sleeved shirt with wide
sleeves that was doing that little gesture for me. Odd, but true. So might
there be something your wife is doing to make it happen? If not, maybe a
reboot of the phone is in order. As far as i'm aware, screen curtain is a
toggle and should stay they way it's set.
