There is a database file which you can backup to your computer using iTunes file sharing.. I know there was a thread on this topic a while back.
Anyway, you backup the file from the light app, and then add it to the full app. The only problem is that in iTunes, it's not clear which app is the light version and which is the full one I had to delete the full version from my phone, so I knew which database file from which version to back up.
