Hi Pablo,

First of all, if you are trying to create a folder by moving one app on top
of another on an iPad, even an iPad Mini, you have to move your finger a lot
further than on an iPhone because of the larger screen. Voiceover may say
you are on the app or the folder you want to be on, but you want Voiceover
to say "opening" or something like this. You probably just have to move your
finger a bit further to one side or another. I just moved some apps into a
folder on my Mom's full-size iPad 2 which is also running the latest version
of iOS 7 and it worked just fine, but like I said, there just is more space.

As far as Settings is concerned, you have to understand that on an iPad in
landscape mode the screen is split for many apps and Settings is one of
these. On the left side of the screen you have the main categories of
Settings just as you wold find them on your iPhone when you first open
Settings, but if, for example, you double tap on General, nothing really
happens on the left side of the screen, but on the right side in another
window or as Apple calls it, another "Container" the options appear which
are contained in General. On the iPhone the main Settings screen is replaced
by these options because there is not enough room to display both, but on an
iPad this is not the case. If after you go into General you go back to the
left and double tap on another Setting like Privacy, once again on the right
side of the screen the items from General are now changing to those
contained in Privacy.

Regards,
Sieghard

Subject: Mini iPad and voice over.

HI al.
I have at home an iPad, a mini iPad of my mom. I am trying to use it with
voice over, but voice over is not doing the same things than in my iPhone.
Some keystrokes works, but others, no. For example, if Ido a double tab on
an icon, and slide my finger to another app, trying to create a folder, it
is not doing it. Just do anything. Another thing that I am looking, if I go
to settings, voice over jump out of the part where is it. If for example I
am in privacy, voice over reads what is out of privacy, and just one thing
of privicy. Yes, I know that I have to move the items up or down, but why
voice over reads out?
thanks for any help.
Pablo
