I agree with you my friend. The 2 games have no interest for me. The songs they gave away would delight my son and maybe my daughter but do nothing for me. That leaves the movie and the travel book. The gifts certainly peak ones interest and it's a great promotional idea. For those who are new to smart phones and such, they may need a nudge in the right direction as to what you can do with the iPhone or iPad.
My wife and I gave each other an iPad Air for Christmas except every time we've drove past an Apple store, you would think their giving it all away instead and neither one of us want to buck those crowds. We even thought of ordering them online until all the stores of people getting an empty box. So we'll wait until things quiet down a bit and then get our iPads.
