Hi, one thing to remember is that there is one app for Skype on the
iPhone/iPod and one for the iPad. The iPad version has a slightly
different user interface, but I just checked and the sign up button is
there. However one thing to keep in mind is that the tabs which are
normally found across the bottom like on iPhones are at the top and some
menu options are down the left.
