Well for an iPad there's only one choice that is mBraille BrailleTouch
won't work on the iPad at all!

When BrailleTouch first came on the scene it was fine, but you could only type
in grade one braille. They only had one update to the App, but I do believe
that the developers had the best of intentions.
MBraille is wonderful because grade two braille can be used. I use it for so
many things. It is also updated on a regular basis with new improvements made
all the time.
