Hello,
Do you have your Skype ID tied in with your Microsoft ID? I did this
back when Microsoft acquired Skype. Now, when I load the Skype app, I
press the "sign in with Microsoft Account" button, enter my credentials
and press "sign in." This worked for me. I had to answer two prompts,
however, asking for permission to use the microphone.
