Yes, it is something to simply get used to. After months of using the app on a 
weekly basis, sometimes daily, I almost never have this problem. There is a 
sensitivity command to make a smaller movement register as a swipe instead of a 
touch, but I don't remember the exact syntax. Use the .feedback command to 
email the MBraille email list and ask about it; I think changing this hidden 
setting will help you. It certainly made a difference for me.
