Hi,

I heard about a new iPhone battery case on the Today in iOS podcast and if I
were to buy a battery case, I think I'd choose this one over the Mophie
JuicePack because of the higher capacity, the built-in kickstand is also a
nice feature. The company is called Odoyo, below is a description of the
case and the link to the 5/5S model, they also have other models for the
4/4S and some Samsung phones. This case also uses a Micro USB cable although
while you can get a Micro USB cable cheaper, I prefer the Lightning
connector because I just really like the fact I don't have to botter about
making sure I plug it in the right way around. I think that is a great
feature of the Lightning connector and I don't know why the Micro USB or,
for that matter, the full-size USB standard wasn't designed that way.

iPhone 5

It's a great case, it will give you much longer battery life, and, you can
charge it and the iphone with a regular micro USB cable instead of having to
use Apple's proprietary nonsense.

Amazon appears to carry three different models of this case, Air, Helium,
and Plus. I'm not really sure what the differences are in these but the
prices are different so I assume they have different charging capacities,
etc.

of negative reviews on Amazon. I especially noticed that Helium model had
several negative reviews stating that phone reception dropped considerably
when in one of these cases.

Juice Pack with the iPhone 5. I don't care which model it is as long as it's
identified. I'm not really interested in experience with these cases with
pre-iPhone 5 models because the negative reviewers seemed to think that the
product took a downturn with the iPhone 5 models.
