Hi, no sorry. The only time I've heard of Voice Over acting funny with gestures or the way it does things is when you are charging the phone and either the cable or the wall plug isn't working exactly right. I don't know the technical term for this, but it's almost like the wrong electrical energy being supplied to the phone while charging can interfere with the gestures. Whether it's due to not enough or too much electric power from the faulty cable or charge cube, I don't know. In cases where I've seen this happen, unplugging the phone has fixed it. Probably not what you are talking about, but that's what has happened to me at least. I see it still with my phone and a certain cable and usb wall plug combination, but not with others.

Hi Raul,

I have a similar problem but my 5S does not re-boot. The Voice Over seems to
freeze because I can't swipe or anything like that but if something happens
like a notification, I hear it. I guess I should correct that and say that it
is the screen that seems to be freezing because the voice works. It usually
happens when I go to my blue tooth keyboard. The only way to get my screen
back is to do a reset and it’s a pain. I'll wait because it could be software.
I'll see what happens when 7.1 comes out. I don't need to rush because I have
a full 12 month warranty and 7.1 should be out in the next few weeks.

Have you ever heard of this?

Subject: Re: Iphone and constant rebooting

Hi Joseph. One other thing I'm thinking of is that sometimes when you do OTA
iOS updates compared to actual iTunes updates it seems to make a difference.
So, if people having the issues have in common that they did an iOS 7.0.4
update over the air, then perhaps a restore using iTunes might help. This is
completely a shot in the dark so I have no idea if this might even apply to
your situation. It could be also that there have been a bad batch of iPhones
with a hardware problem. Let's say that maybe 1000 parts were bad and so 1000
iPhones might have a problem. 1000 is nothing compared to the millions that
Apple sells so when you look at the percentage it's very low, yet it makes a
huge difference when more than just you have a similar problem.

Hello Raul, I am sorry about that I do stand corrected. And you're
probably right I am thinking that I will call back and check with
Apple and see if anybody else is experiencing this issue and see if
they have a fix for it. And I will report back if I find any answers.

Hi, first just to clarify, it's iOS 7.0.4, not 7.4. <smile>. Also, if
it was a world-wide spread issue, something like this would be in the
news I'm sure. I'm sure that Sean's problem, and the few people you
know of are isolated incidents.

Good luck.

Hello Sean, I believe that this issue is now occurring on almost
every version of iPhone there is out there running iOS 7 .4 because
it occurred on my friends five and my other friends five ass. And
since you don't have AppleCare I guess you will probably have to pay
to get it replaced.

my iPhone for more than 5 minutes before it restarts, sometimes its
like 10 seconds and it restarts. I restored my iphone from a
backup and the problem still persists. anyone else have any
suggestions? I have no apple care and have had the phone for 2 1/2
years now so I’m thinking if its bad enough I may have to upgrade.
Just looking for any suggestions on what to do.
