How is your desktop pc connected to the router? I have my pc connected to my router by Ethernet connection. One day my wife's laptop and my iPad would not connect to the router. But my desktop pc worked fine. Well to find out my router had to be reset by the cable company and everything started working again.

The mail server imap gmail.com is not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct account info in mail settings. I haven't changed anything except from alerts to banners.
