When I was using my iPhone 4S, I had this app and loved the fact that it alerted me when major breaking news happened. Now that I have upgraded to a 5S, I no longer get the audible alerts, in spite of the fact that all of my notification settings are the same. I still have my 4S and use it as a WiFi player. To this day, it still gets the AP Mobile alerts just fine. Both phones are running the latest version of IOS 7. Is there something about the 5S that prevents AP Mobile from working on it? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but that doesn't help. I would also be interested to know if anyone is using a different breaking news app with any success.
