Teresa, You can send the video from your iPhone or iPad to an Apple TV. If you have a iPhone 4S or later or a iPad 2 or later, you can mirror the display on the Apple TV. For earlier models, you can only send video to the Apple TV if the app will allow it and many will. Also, the Apple TV can stream content from the Apple Store, Netflix, and YouTube on its own.
