Hi
no they didn't have to, i guess they did as the new Fleksy wasn't
working out as expected, plus they wanted to accomodate everyone
including VoiceOver users, i stand by their word on this.

I don't think the company needed to put out a separate app, verses fixing their own original app; however, I'm glad they did and like the old reliable feel of Fleksy. Hopefully this one will stay truer to the
VO users, but still be improved and enhanced.

Hi
that is ok, Fleksy may remind you of the days of predictive texting, it's a typing app that works like this. Tap anywhere on the screen where
you think the letters are, swipe to the right with one finger to
generate a word based on your pattern, if it's not right you can flick down with one finger to bring up a list of suggestions similar to the pattern you typed. After the text has been entered you can invoke a menu with a two finger flick up to allow you to manipulate that text. That's Fleksy in a nutshell. Very helpful instructions come integrated with the
app.

Hi,

As far as I have read, there is nothing new in Fleksy Vo. If anything, it뭩 a return to what was working well before they started to muck around with it to accommodate developpers who were integrating it in their apps. It really is a back to basics for what was working well with VO and, in my
opinion, it was a smart move.

I've seen at least one message on this list and a handful on the iDevices list about a new Fleksy app called Fleksy VO. As an aside, the label it is
tagged with when installed is Fleksy VI from what I've read.

For those interested in checking out the app description, here's the link
to it on the Apps Store:

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/fleksy-vo-for-voiceover-users/id7
93539091?mt=8

I'm curious how Fleksy VO works compared to the original Fleksy which is at version 2.02. The iTunes description indicates that your custom dictionary from the original Fleksy will work with Fleksy VO but I'm wondering what differences there might be between the original and Fleksy VO. I will be trying it and finding out for myself but I thought I'd first
tap the list knowledgebase.

Thanks in advance.
