First of all, it's JBL not JVL. I have the JBL charge and I love it. The
nice thing about the Charge is that it has a 6000 MA battery built into
it so that you can charge your device from the speaker itself while it
is in use. The Charge will not act as a bluetooth speaker phone when you
get a call, but the JBL Flip will do this. The Charge kind of looks like
a tall beer can. In fact, you can lay it flat or stand it on end. There
are only 2 buttons on the speaker, volume/mute, and on/off/pairing
button. The Charge has been getting higher ratings over all, but you
probably can't go wrong with either model. BTW, the Flip doesn't have
the built in 6000 MA battery, and I decided that the battery was more
important than having the speaker phone feature.
