No there is a blocked feature in iOS 7. So what you do is go to the
recents tab in the phone app, double tap more info next to the number,
then double tap the block contact button. From then on they can't call,
message or FaceTime call you.

Why not create a contact called blocked and then add that number to that
contact. In future you can add other numbers to this same contact.
On this same topic I would like to know if there is a way to block unknown
numbers.

If we can't look at ourselves, and ask, why? then where does the learning
start?

Subject: Blocking a number that's not in your contacts
Hi Listers,
Is there a way of blocking a number that you don't first wish to add to
your contacts? I know I can block a number that's already in my contacts
list but what about if you get an advertising call, and you obviously
don't wish to have their number in your contacts but you want to block
it? Is there a way to accomplish it? Or is there a way of manually
entering a number somewhere to be blocked?
Many thanks
Andrew
