When I double tap on the calendar event detected link, I get the option to create event or show calendar. If I double tap on create event, it takes me to the dialog to create an event that's already filled in with the information from the email. I double tap on the done button, and it shows up on my calendar. I don't see an option that says "add to calendar". Are you running IOS 7.0.4?
