Hi, Having done some investigating I'm less concerned about the legality of the service than I was before, but I really shouldn't have had to do this in the first place - I still maintain that the website is missing some vital information. Turns out that the CEO runs some sort of Hungarian film production company, although again, its website isn't exactly anything to write home about & a quick Google doesn't produce that many results that relate to it. One of the films does sound pretty interesting though.
The reason why I was / am skeptical of the service is that to provide "hundreds of titles from the largest studios and broadcasters" would be a very big accomplishment, although it's a fairly easy sentence to write. In order to secure such contracts, you would either have to be extremely influential in the industry, or be able to demonstrate that a significant number of people would be willing to pay for your service - a large upfront payment would also most likely be required. To clarify, I'd love for the service to take off; for countries where described content is rarely broadcast, an alternative to more questionable methods is definitely required. Personally, I think I'll be sitting tight until things become a bit clearer, but each to their own. Cheers, Ben.
