Hi, Since it's only 9 months old, if possible, I'd take it to an Apple store and get them to have a look at it for you. Having said this, as has been suggested I would try restarting the phone then restoring it in iTunes, although not being able to swipe, not turning on & degraded battery life doesn't sound overly promissing.
