Hello, Ari.

Raul, I hope you're reading this in order to catch any mistakes on my part.

Yes, the Notesy interface is one of the clearest I have everseen for
any app. I listen to the buttons and say to myself, "Yes, I get it
entirely." Nebulous Notes's screens are a bit more challeging. The
"link file" button next to a filename does indeed mean that a file
present in the clouds isn't present on the iDevice, or vice versa.
The next time you see the words "link file" next to a Dropbox file,
switch to the "Device" tab and see if the file is on the iDevice. It
should not be there.

One of the singular advantages of Nebulous Notes is that the user can
prevent a file from ever going to the cloud. If the user goes into
"Settings" and turns auto-sync off, she or he will have to manually
sync every file if she/he wants that file to be on the iDevice and on
Dropbox. In other words, if you don't want every file you create on
your device to be synced to Dropbox, turn auto-sync off, an manually
sync only the files you want to be present on your iDevice and in the
cloud.

If you want to practice manual syncing, try this: make doubly sure all
the files you care about are safely on Dropbox. Then, switch your
iPhone or iPad to the "Device" tab. Press the button labeled
something like "clear all files from device," and confirm with "yes."
Then, switch to the "Cloud" tab, and manually link the files one by
one to your device.
