Speedtest, however, does not provide the Wi-Fi connected speed, it measures the speed of your 3G/LTE connection if you are connected to 3G/LTE. If you are connected to Wi-Fi it gives you the speed of whatever internet connection you have, ADSL or Cable, and once again that is the connection speed to the outside world.
The Speedtest app is from www.Speedtest.org <http://www.Speedtest.org> where you can go on a computer and check the speed of your computer’s internet connection. I am not sure if the speed at which you are connected to your router is available in iOS, I have never seen it displayed anywhere. I’m sure there is an app out there for that.
