Thanks Don -- I had to tap on the "sign up" part of the screen, then a series of edit fields as you describe became available, and then I had to tap back to the sign in... A bit convoluted, but it worked.
Now, any ideas how you can play a wave file/music file through drop box? I thought I would experiment and see if I could just move some music files over to my iPhone using Dropbox, but when I tap on the music file it tells me I can't open that file.
