Ear Monsters is sort of like Whack a Mole. Each time you hear a monster, touch on the screen where the monster seems to be coming from. The first few monsters are shown visually to help you understand the game. The monsters only appear in a few positions to start. But as you get better, they come from more and more positions. If you hear the sound of a fuse, that's a bomb. make sure you tap where you hear it to defuse it, or when it explodes, the game is over. IF you hear a jet sound, tap the screen as fast as you can to score the most points. But of course, make sure you keep listenign for bombs when you do
If you're having a hard time, you can try out the "Training" section. In this mode, you can always see the monsters as well as hear them. If you're visually impaired and turn on VoiceOver, Training will help guide you to where the monsters are coming from. Hope that helps!
