You forgot to mention that Cydia apps only are for Jailbroken iPhones and I don't think May's phone is jailbroken.

Super recorder also integrates with activator to allow seting up a jesture to start/stop recording on the fly. both apps are paid but not expensive. they are also mostly accessible with voiceOver.
