Hi, the flaw here in letting the iDevice run down to a certain percent is that if you connect it to your computer and use it with iTunes or anything else like removing photos, it will charge as soon as it is connected. I have recently been using my iQ5 microphone a lot and I have to get the files off of the unit through iTunes. I note that my battery charge is nearly always between 90 and 100%. I do wish there was a way on these and other devices to opt to not have it charge when connected to the computer.
