I have had the same problem running 7.04 with a iPhone 5s, take a video with
my sighted wife you can see the video in the preview screen but after you
hit stop, and go into the camera roll to watch the video, you get the sound,
but no video... Obviously the screen curtain is off because I'm showing my
wife the screen as I'm taking the video. Is there any fixes for this?

I wonder if it's a memory issue and if restarting the phone would resolve
it. I've played videos before on the 5S with VO on so that's why I'm

Found the problem and it is vo, with vo on the videos will not show on
the 5s, if I turn vo off, they will play just fine.
Note: audio plays, but the video does not show, is just a blank screen.
