I can only answer the last question, but here goes. Phonetic feedback means when you read letter by letter, if you pause, it will say the phonetic, such as alpha, bravo, Charlie... Text feedback means when you type a letter in the on screen keyboard, it will confirm by re-stating the letter, essentially echoing Both these settings are totally up to personal preference. Jewel
