Hi, The messages are on the screen according to conversation. Say you have two different conversations from John and Bob. You would have to double tap on one of those to bring up the whole conversation, or you can flick up once and then it will give you an option to delete the whole conversation. If you want to delete certain messages, then do what Isaac said.
