Subject: Re: Inconsistent VoiceOver Page Announcement Wehn Paging Through Screens

Since you are now in iOS 7, did you know you can also use the
handwriting feature to open apps on different pages? If you have aps
that you routinely go to on different pages, you can turn the rodar to
handwriting, and simply draw the letters on screen. I don't think you
have to enable this feature, but could be wrong on that.

Good luck,

I' upgraded to iOS 7.1 from 6.1.4 a couple of days ago and am really liking it. One inconsistency I've noticed is that when I'm paging through my apps using 3-finger swipes left and right that sometimes VoiceOver announces the page number I've moved to and sometimes it doesn't. I can't determine that
I've done anything differently when it does announce the page numbers.

This is not a major problem but it is inconvenient because I've memorized
which apps are on which page and it's easy to lose track when I've got
seven
screens of apps. I don't need any recommendation about using groups because
I like having the apps individually available on the pages.

I'm just curious if anyone else has experienced this behavior and if so
might have figured out a way to correct it. Also, has anyone experienced
this with prior iOS 7 versions or is it new with 7.1?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
