Go to settings, mail contacts calendar, and activate the Add Button. Set up the gmail account that the google calendar is connected to. The username and password are required. Once it is set up, check calendar and it will place that calendar in the calendar app. If the appointments do not appear, double-tap on the calendars button at the bottom of the calendar screen and double-tap the particular calendar to checkmark it.
