Subject: Using CamFind as a vision booster!

Hi there,
I am sorry because, I know, this suggestion will only be of use to those of us with a little vision. Last night, being on my own for a few weeks, living in the wilds of Ireland with no neighbours nearby, I needed to find something that my dog had lost. It was his favourite rubber bone! I slide special dentistry choose in the end for him. But could we find it? No! I sent him off to look repeatedly with no results. Then I had a little brainwave: I powered up CamFind, but didn't take a shot. I found that by moving around looking at the screen of the phone, I could see much much much better than I can just using my eyes. Everything was much brighter! I could see in places which, without the use of CamFind, were just dark spaces. I have noticed this phenomenon before, but hadn't thought to make use of it. Then I tried it using just the built-in camera on my for S, but found it was nothing like as good. I suspect that both Prizmo and text grabber would be just as useful, but I haven't tried them yet.

Hoping not to get too far off topic, but if Google Glass can afford a similar effect, I think we might be talking about the next generation of glasses!

Anyway, just thought I'd mention it for those who might find it worth a try.

Good luck,
Sandy
