You have to peel the rubber back that surrounds the phone. Start around the
area just below the volume button, you can start getting it off by sliding
your fingernail under the silican outter case.
When the case is removed, start at the bottom of the otterbox plastic case.
It has an upper half and a lower half and you can pry them apart starting at
the end where the lightning connector and headphone jack is located.
If you get the case partially opened, you don't have to completely separate
it to slide your phone in. Then, reverse the procedure.

case. I can open the case and i know where the screen protector is but I
