Hi, for what it's worth, I personally prefer the Focus 14 over the Braille Pen 12. There are more buttons on the Focus and it gives you more control over commands. Plus the Braille Pen in my opinion seems like it will fall apart with a gust of wind. The focus doesn't seem all that much more sturdy, but it at least has more features. <smile>.

Focus 14 blue is a really small and good display. It works well with the

Hi you could also get the braille pen. I don't know of any other braille
displays that would work with a Eyephone but I know that that one does since I
have herd it does. hth. from Mich.

Subject: small portable braille display for the iphone

Hi all,
I'm considering purchasing a small braille display for use with my iphone. Just wondering what other users recommend? I want something that has a decent number of cells for reading, but is still small enough to fit in a deep pocket. Will even accept a size display the size of the phone if need be. I was maybe thinking the focus 14 blue, or even an 18 cell display if those exist. I mean a display, not a note taker. I already have a 32 cell braille sense, but want something small I can carry in a pocket for if I'm out and don't have my braille sense with me, which whilst it doesn't happen offten, might still be a good thing to have if I want to be private or not disturb others with the talking phone say if I get a message while family members are watching tv. I only use headphones for music and I feel a braille display means I can still use the phone, but be private and quiet, and still be social with those around me when out, where as I feel earphones cut me off from those around
me and I look more anti social.
Just considering at this point, no real decisions made, but I'd enjoy hearing
others thoughts.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Andrew
