Hi, because I edit my recordings from a PC in many cases I choose wav.
The thing to keep in mind is that wav is uncompressed audio and will
take up a lot more space. The nice thing is that the app tells you how
much space you have on your device before you start to record. If you
want smaller formats, choose the aif or the mp3 format and your
recordings will be nice, but be compressed and take up less space. When
recording in mono wave, it takes up around 5 mb per minute of recording.
When recording in mp3, that space is far far smaller.
