First of all, the hissy voice can be from having the compact voice on your
phone. It's either enabled, or you need to download the high quality voice,
which happens when the unit is charging.

As far as the pronounciation issue, if you disable siri, the enabled it, all
things that siri has learned has been lost and will need to be retaught to
her.

Subject: Voiceover is well and truly messed up!.

Hi all,

Whilst messing around with Voice over and Siri settings yesterday, it
appears I have messed things up good and proper! LOL.

I was originally trying to select a different voice option. but instead,
have left myself with a rather hissy sounding voice. and Names in my
contacts are no longer spoken correctly. As they were before my effort to
try and change a couple of the settings.

So my question is, does anyone have any ideas as to what i could have done.
and how to repair the current mess I have got myself into?.

Best regards,

Del
