Hi, I'm curious if that counts as one of your 5 allowed activations.
From reading the web site, if you have Office 365, you are allowed up
to 5 activations. They say it can be on a PC, Mac, or tablet. So, even
though it's free, since you have to sign into it using your outlook.com
or Microsoft Live account, I would venture a guess that it is one of
your 5 counts. However I don't know for sure, hens why I ask in case you
or others might know.

Maybe this is old news. But I just found out that you can get MS Office apps
free on the iPad. That is, if you have an office 365 subscription, the iPad app
accesses the documents you have in the cloud, and you can edit them etc. If you
don't have 365, I assume that you can purchase it as an in app subscription but
might be wrong. My husband just put the app on his iPad, and VO did read the
text in his saved document that he opened. He isn't a VO user, but he just
turned it on temporarily to see if it would read the text and the controls,
which it did.
