Hi, Thanks, that helped, and I actually won my first game. grin Sharon -----Original Message----- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Richard Turner Sent: Sunday, March 30, 2014 11:43 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: RE: Kings Corner
Picture a square. The Kings go in the corners. In the middle spots between the kings are four places where the other cards are laid out. The center is left empty. So a potential of 8 piles of cards. Starting in the upper left you might have, an empty king's spot, to the right a 3 of diamonds, to the right of that in the upper right-hand corner another empty king's spot. In the middle right you might have a jack of clubs, in the lower right another empty king's spot. In the bottom row middle, you might have a 5 of spades. IN the lower left might be dealt a king of hearts or it could be another empty spot. Finally, in the middle left spot you may have a 4 of spades. It is like solitaire, where you have to place the cards in descending order alternating between red and black. So, in my example, starting off you could move the 3 of diamonds onto the 4 of spades. You double tap and hold on the card you want to move, wait for the tones, then slide your finger on the card where you want to place that card. Only places where it is legal to drop a card will speak. So, when you slide the 3 of diamonds onto the 4 of spades, you will hear "4 of spades" spoken and lift your finger and that pile will now read, 4 of spades to 3 of diamonds. You now have an empty spot in the top middle, so you could move one of the 7 cards you were dealt to that location. The ultimate goal is to run out of cards with as many empty spots as possible. On the king's in the corners, you place the queen, then jack etc. in alternating colors. I hope that helps, Richard -----Original Message----- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Sharon Sent: Sunday, March 30, 2014 9:27 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Kings Corner Hi, I was wondering if anyone could explain how kings corner is played and how do you know where to put your cards at? I really am not understanding how this game works. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Sharon -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list.
