so, let's say you have a Queen and three 5's. The three fives add up to 15, so you get 2 points. Each 5 with the queen add up to 15, so 6 more points. Plus you get 6 points for three of a kind. If you have 2 5's and a 4 and a 6, you can count each 5 with the 4 and 6 for 15's, plus two runs of 4.5.6 'for 3 points each plus the pair of 5's. So, all the cards can be used once for each combination, so as many combinations you can come up with that are unique, it works. Having the game count for you means you won't ever miss points. When playing a person with real cards, you can play so that if someone fails to count points, they can lose those points to the other person. HTH, Richard
