Hi, I'm using an iPhone 5S running iOS 7.1, and I got a second-hand Refreshabraille a couple of weeks ago. Sometimes it connects to my phone fine, but sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't and I go to Braille settings, I'm told it is connected. Sometimes when I try to connect, I get an error something like, "COuldn't load driver." Sometimes closing all apps before trying to connect helps, but sometimes I have to turn the phone off to get it to connect, and this morning I had to turn it off twice. The phone connects fine with my Focus 40 Blue almost every time, so Bluetooth is clearly working pretty well overall.
I called APH, and they confirmed that my display is running the latest firmware, 3.0. They said it was a problem with Apple's support for the display. Is anyone else experiencing these types of problems, and if so, have you found any workarounds? I searched the archives but didn't find any info on this. Thanks.
