Simple! One end is a plug, the other end is a jack. You just push the plug through the headphone jack on the bottom of the uice pack. kind of like having sex. LOL!

I think this provides access to the headphone jack which is otherwise unavailable when the phone is plugged into the case. I could not find any instructions in the user guide on how to connect this pass-through cable and my friend is having trouble getting it connected and doesn't want to force anything.
