Open the link. After a second or two, there will be a "bookmark" button in the 
bottom center of the screen; double tap that, and there you go. I still wish 
you could save right from a popup menu like Tweetlist, but the developers say 
there is not enough interest. Please, if this is a feature you want as well, 
drop them a note.

I'm not sure. I have never had the app slow down, so haven't had to try this.
