Hi there. You basically have the right idea. In addition to saying the actual word for the comma, and the period, you speak the names of the other punctuations. Question mark for ? And exclamation mark for !
When you do this, you will find that the correct punctuation is used. I will give you an example of one sentence that comes out and then how I actually dictated it. I really love my iPhone! It is the best thing that happened to me, I am kidding of course. Right? I really love my iPhone exclamation mark it is the best thing that happened to me comma I am kidding of course period Right question mark --- Sent from Raul's rectangular glass - 832.554.7285 Please excuse any auto complete or dictation weirdness. > On Apr 8, 2014, at 7:40 PM, Ron Pelletier <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hi all, > > Does anyone know how to dictate punctuation other than the comma or period. > What could we use for exclamation or question marks.
