The Plantronics Voyager Legend will let you listen to NLS Talking Books via the
Bard app. The ear peace permits you to wirelessly control the play/stop
button. If you setup the Bard app to permit use wile the screen is locked,
then the Legend start/stop works by taking the ear peace out of your ear. In
other words, you want to pause reading for a wile. Just pull the ear peace out
of your ear. The sensors in the Legend pauses the playback of your book. You
would have to do your rewind and fast forward through the Bard app. At first,
I thought this would turn out to be a deal breaker but in reality, it hasn't.
All you really need is the ability to play/stop. When a phone call comes in
through the ear peace, playback is automatically placed on stop. I don't
remember for sure but I believe the legend permits playing to start again via
the start/stop button on the mike boom. The Plantronics Voyager Legend is a
ear peace not a stereo headset however, the audio quality of the legend is very
good and if you don't mind listening to a little music in mono and not to
bother other people around you then the legend should work just fine for you.
I use mine when I want to continue reading my book wile my wife is sleeping.
Another advantage is, you can still walk around the house up to 30 feet and
leave your phone on the charger.

Subject: Does This Bluetooth Headset Exist?

I'm looking for a bluetooth headset to use with my iPhone 5 and don't care
whether it's a single ear or both ears set but I do want it to have the
following features:

1.. A2DP compatible so it works with VoiceOver.
2.. Controls similar to what is found on the wired earpods including a
remote button, volume buttons, and a microphone. Since my phone is in my pocket
most of the time, having access to a remote button allowing movement between
tracks and rewind and fast forward capability is critical.
3.. A decent sound. I will be using this primarily to listen to books but
will also use it to listen to music and make calls.

I already have a Plantronics M50 Bluetooth headset but I don't think it has a
remote button that allows starting and stopping of audio and rewind and fast
forward of items playing.

Can anyone suggest a headset containing the above features that you can
recommend? Thanks in advance.
