Hi, This might be an odd question, but I’ve been curious for months so here goes:
Why does the default iPhone keyboard look different depending on the application you use, and is there a way to change this? Ever since IOS 7, the iPhone keyboard that appears on screen has looked different than previous versions of the operating system, and I know that low-vision users complained about the look of this for a while. But the keyboard also looks different depending on the application you’re in. The keyboard in the messaging app, for example, is very bright and the keys look kind of faded. But the same Apple on-screen keyboard in Search iPhone or in the Youtube app looks much darker, and the keys stand out to someone with low vision. Does anyone know why the on-screen keyboard looks different depending on what you’re doing? Is it possible to set the darker keyboard as default?
