When reading books on Kindle or iBooks on my iPhone 5 it is very distracting since it reads all the punctuation. I discovered that on the iPad Retina it does not read out the punctuation. I have been checking out all the settings but can’t find anything that mentions reading out punctuation or not. I would like to use the two apps but for fiction the punctuation is a total distraction. I don’t like to use the iPad because it is usually being used by my husband. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Would it make any difference to use different voices? I have no idea how to switch voices but I am willing to try. Thanks in advance, Sherrie Gosling
