Once you've paired your Amazon Basics Bluetooth Keyboard with your iDevice, your good to go. Turning off the power does not delete the Bluetooth connection. If you have more then 1 iDevice, you'll need to pair with the next iDevice you want to use. The Amazon Basics Bluetooth Keyboard can only pair with 1 device at a time. The good news is, it's straight forward and easy enough however, once the 4 digit code is announced, you only have like 5 seconds or so to type it in. The way I do it is, I'll have the keyboard on my lap and my fingers of my left hand on the number row on the Amazon keyboard. Then I'll press the button to get the code and put my right hand on the number row to be ready to type. I know that sounds like a real hassle but it's not as bad as it sounds.

I keep mine paired with my iPhone 5s. My iPhone 4 I don't use for email and texting.

Subject: Amazon Basics Keyboard

Hi,

For those of you using the Amazon Basics keyboard for pairing with your
Iphone or Ipod, are there any special tips and tricks I need to know?
It's a neat little gadget, and I am currently using it with my Ipod, but I
just received it today, so I'm wondering if there is anything I need to
know?

Is there some kind of notification I can set on the Ipod to let me know when
it's connected, or do I have to connect it every time?
Thanks.
