I'm interested to use the phone much better and also to protect it. Does it mean that you also use a case for the phone?

I suppose it helps keep the screen from getting scratched, but really,
the reason I use the tactile screen protector is the way it assists me
to move around the screen and especially with typing on the on-screen
keyboard.

Does the cover actually protect the screen besides having the tactile marks?

I don't have any screen protector yet.

Hi Alex and all, I have used a tactile screen protector since I got my
first IPhone (the 4), and I now use the model that's been updated for
the 5s. I enjoy using the tactile dots for orientation and believe
that their availability reqlly speeds up my typing on the IPhone. In
addition, it's always easy to find the DONE and the EDIT buttons. It's
surprising how much the helpful orientation facilitates using the
IPhone, and I recommend them to every new IPhone user I meet.

p.s., I like the model that's less "busy," i.e., there are fewer
markings, and the markings on the keyboard refer to the F and J on the
QWERTY home row.

The Speed Dots tactile screen protectors are the ones. I've seen them, but

I
don't use one personally. Every app is laid out differently, so while it
is
true that you do get tactile reference points, they can often change what
they reference depending on the app you have open. I found it just as
easy
to remember where things are on the screen and rely on speech or braille.
That said, if you are in a noisy area, they might prove useful, but then
if
you can't hear the speech telling you what's on the screen, how will you
hear the voice telling you the result of any action?

Hello,

I read about some screen covers that have tactile marks. Does anyone use
them? Are they useful? Do they help?
