How do you get the recordings off your phone? I am limited to around 10megs
for e-mail attachments with comcast. I also have clear record and that
will transfer to dropbox on my desktop. I don't know how large of a file I
can do that with. Andy

Best Note Taking App By Far!!!!

by bobdokey I'm pretty much addicted to this app. My meetings at work as
well as my song-writing are so reliant on this app going on two years now.
They keep updating it and making it better and better.
The only thing I missed when I first got it was the link between the audio
on a word by word basis, NOW they've added this but in an even more
intuitive
way.
The drawings, highlights, AND texts all are connect to what's being recorded
at that time. The playback reveals what you were doing at that exact time
of note-taking.
I basically just put in keywords and hit record now...thus giving me less of
"hold, let me write that down" and more face time with my staff. Thank you
Notability for all of your updates! **A more visual representation of the
sound wave recorded, along with editing of the length of what was recorded,
would
be highly appreciative, then I could recommend this to fellow songwriters!**

Best Note-Taking App

by meluhneh Let me just start off by saying that I NEVER review anything.
Ever. But I was so excited about the last update, I needed to comment on it.
This app is fantastic. It doesn't crash like the other notetaking apps.
You can record entire lectures while typing notes, drawing, & making
highlights. Then, when you go back to play the recordings, your notes light
up as
you go. You can also edit the notes while the recording takes place, in case
you wrote something incorrectly. Then, when you go back to listen to it, the
new notes also light up in sync. I freaked out when I noticed that!
It's so helpful in my biology classes, since lectures often are too detailed
to write down everything. Or I misunderstand something said... Now I can go
back and make corrections. I bet it's dead useful when taking notes from the
book after lectures.

am surprised how much sense this app makes. You can record lectures and
group
them by recording, organize notes into folders and topics, insert pictures,
links to websites, draw diagrams, type or write out notes, highlight, cut
and
resize, edit PDF files with notes (etc), back up with multiple sources
(including iCloud, Google Docs, DropBox), share with friends and classmates,
restore
or download with ease...Notability is just a well-rounded source for iOS
users. I have had zero issues with crashes as well, which I am over-joyed
for.
There is even a place to provide feedback and ideas straight to developers.
I recommend this app without hesitation. I would have easily paid double for
this.
