Perhaps, but I never used the rotor yet. Today I had to go to AT&T to buy
something, and I asked them to change the language to English. The person
said that he couldn't unlock the phone because Voiceover was on, so I
unlocked the screen for him and he did the rest.
Thanks for your instructions. I will keep this message just in case.

Rena,
One possibility is that you may have inadvertently changed the Voiceover
language with the rotor. I don't know how much you have learned about
the rotor and so I don't want to assume you know something that you may
not have learned.
One of the choices which can appear in the rotor is language. If you
were focused on that option and slid one finger down on the touchscreen,
you may have switched from English to another language.
If this is what happened, put your thumb and first finger on the
touchscreen and twist both fingers to the right. Pretend that there is
a knob or a dial on the touchscreen and that you're turning this
imaginary knob.
As you twist, you should hear Voiceover read things like "characters"
"words" "containers", etc. Of course, this may be difficult to
understand if you're no longer in the English language. If you can, keep
doing this imaginary knob twisting on the touchscreen until you hear
"language."
Now, slide one finger down from the top of the screen and see if you
hear different choices for languages; hopefully, English is one of them.

Hello,
This morning I found that my phone spoke another language, but I don't
have any idea what happened. What can I do to return to English? Please,
tell me something easy because I'm new.
Thanks, Rena
